Could anyone make sense of the following . It is a list of postings in the royal navy . I have figured most of them are landbased training establishments , but there are one or two a bit of a puzzle .

Was Rotherham actually a ship ? Some dates are just for a few days . The story in the family is he was in the Arctic convoy, but I wonder if they have got it mixed up with the convoy route for the Rotherham , in the South Atlantic. One of the land based ``SHIPS`` was in Scapa Flow .
