I have a James Rowland (possibly James Webster Rowland) on my Tree. I have never been able to find the 1841 census for him despite looking through the list of 1841 census for Lincolnshire. His area is not mentioned. Most of the Rowlands of this line have had some connection with Stamford. I would be grateful if anyone could help me here?
dob 1831 Terrington, Donnington-in-Holland, Lincolnshire (spelling of Dunnington may be variable)
Parents were: James Rowland and Mary Aldridge
Baptised Donington-in-Holland, Lincolnshire 1.3.1831
Census found:
1851 Northampton St. Giles (extra-parochial) age 20 - now married to Eliza Godfrey
1861 Crane Street, Stamford St. Michael, Lincs age 30 ............. I thought St. Michaels came under Stamford Baron which is Northamptonshire - perhaps it didn't in 1861!
1871 Scarletwell Street, Northamptonshire age 40
1881 Northampton St. Sepulchre age 50
1891 Northamptonshire age 60
1898 died age circa 67
