Sarah Slade on the 1841 Census is living at West Lodge, in Soberton, Hampshire with her husband and children. Her age is recorded as 40yrs, 10 years older than her husband Thomas Slade who was recorded as 30 yrs old. He was actually aged 35 years old and baptised 16 May 1806.
Could I assume then that her birth was c.1796 based on the above information?
I know Sarah died sometime between May 1841 after he last child was born and January 1849, when her Widowed husband remarried in Bristol to Elizabeth. They lived in Westbury on Trym, Gloucestershire until 1855.
There is a death Registration for a Sarah Slade registered in Dorset 1845, but it's not her!
I can't even find a Baptism for her either! She was a 'Spinster of the Parish' when she married in Soberton Hampshire in Oct 1830.
Perhaps someone else has a Sarah Cooper in their family tree and doesn't know what happened to her ... could it be my Sarah Cooper?
