Can anyone recommend the cheapest way? I just need UK records (especially London parish records).

It used to be with FTM software but does anyone know of any discounts on at the mo?

You rarely find any discounts direct offered by Ancestry, unless you phone them and plead!

FTM platinum package has a 6 months free subscription to UK records. You can pick this up for around £40-£45 pounds from sites such as Amazon, TWR Computing, My History, sometimes ebay .. and others.
Also Tesco Club card points where I think it is just under £20.

Have you checked to see if your local library has ancestry ?

Library ancestry doesn't have all the databases that we get as subscribers. It might be worth checking it out though,
