Workhouse Death registration

If somebody died on the 28 Dec 1866 in a Workhouse is it likely the death would be registered in the Dec quarter of that year ?

Could be either, Val. I think a Workhouse would be more likely to register quickly but then it would depend on the local registrar as to how quickly he moved. I would be looking in Dec and Jan the following year as equally possible.

Thanks Anne I have found one in Dec in Shoreditch , she died in Hackney so reckon this is her then ?
