  • Tower of London WW1 Memorial Ceremonies

I dont know whether this is the right Forum but thought that some people might be interested. Sorry if it has been reported before and I missed it.

I have just entered my greatgrandfather's name to the Roll of Honour so that it will be read out during one of the nightly ceremonies. Also the name of his younger brother who died unmarried so has no descendants to remember him.

    Hi Modem,

I rely very heavily on this forum to keep me abreast of events, deals etc.

Thank you for this. I hadn't heard about it and will enter my grandfather's brother's name.

I also heard from the about the Imperial war Museum and their site to remember the men and women who were in WW1.

Like I said, if it wasn't for the forum I would miss a lot in the genealogical world.
