FTM 2011 pdf problem

Hi

I have, for instance, a five page tree on FTM, but when I save it as a .pdf it becomes 10 pages - because after each page with text on, there's an extra blank page added.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this "normal"?

I've seen this happen in the past, generally with pdf charts, but no idea how you can correct it.

PDFs and Charts can get very strange at times.
At a guess, it is something to do with the page setup in your PDF process that is carrying over an invisible "End of Page" marker to a second page.

Have a look at your margin setting - especially the top and bottom ones - as the defaults can often be quite large.

You could do a Google for "free PDF editors" - I know that there are some out there - and use one to inspect your created PDFs.

I have a new laptop and having loaded FTM2011 onto it, I've discovered that it DOESN'T add extra pages to .pdfs like our old laptop does.

So, it'll be the new one I'm using in future then!
