need help finding norah gwynns parents she married Arthur s simpson in 1923 and had 3 children douglas Dorothy and Arthur. north bierley

Do you have any idea when where Norah died, as a death index entry would give age at death (or even date of birth in later indexes) which could help to pinpoint her birth entry. Failing that I fear this is another certificate you will need to buy, as the marriage cert should give her father's name and occupation.

norah died in Bradford not sure when im thinking she would have been born around 1900. her first child was born 1924

On the 1911 census there is a Norah Simpson born 1899 in Leeds, Yorkshire
Walton Simpson 49 born Leeds
Annie Simpson 46 wife
Helena Simpson 22 daughter
Jack Grainger Simpson 18 son
Miriam Simpson 16 daughter
Norah Simpson 12 daughter
Walton Simpson 9 son

Wife and all children also born Leeds. The family were living at 25 Burley Lodge Terrace, Leeds.

If the family moved a little nearer the Bradford area i.e Bramley, Stanningley, Pudsey, Farsley then the wedding could have been registered at North Bierley.

As Judith suggests the marriage certificate will confirm her fathers name.

could Gwynn have been her married name - was she was a widow when she married Arthur Simpson ?

so ...where was Norah Gwynn born if she is not on freebmd and is not the Welsh lady ??

I am going to try and find Norah Kathleen M Gwynn in 1911 census to see where she is ?

she seems to me to be the only Norah Gwynn possible - but makes her 17 at her marriage in 1923 ??

Norah K M Gwynn marries in 1930 ...so that`s not your Norah Gwynn

looks like it has to be a purchase of that Marriage cert in 1923 ...
