Saw this message today, although it might have been on a while...........

As of 31st July 2014 the online functionality (including Web Search) in FTM 16 and prior will no longer be available.

Unfortunately I will be affected by this change. It was so easy to do Ancestry searches through FTM. Will now have to decide whether to buy a supported version but am reluctant to make the change because from what I've seen of them they do not seem as user friendly. Too many bells and whistles that I can do without. Ho hum something else to fret about!

you could do what I do and have your tree on ancestry, its very easy to add records to it from there
