I have posted this query before which relates to my grandfather George Edward Parkes missing (or cannot be found) within the 1891 census . I rack my brain with new ideas all to no avail.
Born in Bethnal Green in 1872 he was 19 years of age. His father had died and his mother re-married. He is not to be found with his mother or his sisters and it seems some of his sisters and a brother are also missing from the 1891 census. All living in the same area of Bethnal Green/Shoreditch could it then be reasonable to assume that a chunk of the census for this area in 1891 has indeed gone missing. That said I have found just one of his sisters at that time.
Anybody else have missing family in that area at this time??
