Scott Family from Canonbie in Dumfriesshire

I am trying to find out as much as I can of James Scott, born 27 March 1824 baptized 25 April 1824, and John Scott born 18th March 1826, baptized 30 April 1826. Their Parents were Robert Latimer Scott and Jane Stothart. They were born and baptized in Canonbie. I would like to know what happened to them. did they marry, when did they die. If anyone can help, I will be most grateful. Scott is as very common name around the Canonbie area, and severl John Scotts were born in 1826. However the dates I have quoted above are the correct ones.

if you can't locate either in subsequent census, i would say they likely died. in that case you may find burials, but in my experience, a majority of scotland never recorded them.
