Have ancestry changed their format ? When I put in a search it comes up with Countries . Have to scroll through to get Scotland . When I do all I get is names ,no dates of birth etc. Before it came up with the best match right at the beginning .I haven`t changed the way I search, it doesn`t even come up with my tree .

Ancestry changed their format a month or so ago when they got rid of the "old search method" and moved everyone over to their "new search method".
Are you on the co.uk site ?
Where are you starting your search from?
If you are using SEARCH >> SEARCH ALL RECORD then you can select the "collection priority" that you need, e.g. Scotland, which should mean that the Scottish records come out on top.
If you only want records from Scotland, tick the box to the right which says "show only records from these collections".Elaine
