TITLE : Bison Briefs Index
DESCRIPTION : Bison Briefs began as bi-monthly publication of North Dakota Agricultural College in January-February 1917, titled College and State. The articles dealt with events and activities of the College. Issues often focused on specific topics, such as education, alumni, the Cadet Corps, commencement, North Dakota, homecoming, high school seniors, et cetera. By December 1928, the Alumni and Former Student Association took over the publication and articles focused more on college and alumni events, activities and news. Due to the Depression, the last issue was in April of 1933. The publication was revived in October 1939 as the quarterly NDAC Alumni Review and continued until August 1959 when it became Bison Briefs. With the exception of a four year period (1990-1993) when a magazine titled Frontiers was published which has yet to be indexed, Bison Briefs has continued as a quarterly publication.

DESCRIPTION : Cook County is in Illinois, and includes the city of Chicago. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County Archives is home to more than 500,000 naturalization petitions covering the years 1871 to 1929. More than 400,000 of these records are Declarations of Intention, 1906-1929 which were usually the first papers to be filed by those who wished to become U.S. citizens. After searching for someone, the listing does not now give the pointer indication that the person's listing is clickable, but each listing IS clickable. This leads to more information on the person.
