  • Gonna pack in, this is a nighmare signature.

    Am I seeing 3 names beginning with 'G' ?...........doesn't help really cos I've still no idea.
    Can anyone suggest/decipher these please.

                Looks like Gordon Jones to me followed by the signature GJ. But very tricky one!

                  It would help to see other entries on the same page to familiarise ourselves with the handwriting. Some will be much easier to decipher and we can get used to the letter formation.

                            Looks like the first name is "Hector" to me and definitely "Jones" for surname. Don't know what the 3rd squiggle is! Looks as though this chap starts all his words with the same flourish.

                            Good job he didn't witness any more!
