      Thanks Ken,
I was expecting to see Christina (senior) or Robert as head. Maybe wrong family.

PS can you please tell me the status of Janet (head) and William.

      Thanks again.

Janet (head) is listed as widow Provisions dealer
        address Wolfe Street Toxteth Liverpool

Image is very faint, think William is a ships steward

          Thanks Janet.
Can't quite understand why Christina should suddenly become Janet. I believe she was widowed in c1868 so that bit tallies in with what we've got.
          Thanks again.
          Cath.

I have just had a look and found Christina sr, son Frank and Daughter Christina in 1881 at the same address [17 Wolfe st] though Christina sr is now a Saunders, I think it is a case of being put down wrong by the enumerator. Christina also has her father Francis Kerr living with her.

                Hi Julie,
That's just what I wanted. Glad to see Francis Kerr with her too. There are so many Strongs and Kerrs intermarrying it's been difficult to decide who belonged with who!
                Many thanks.

I know what you mean Cath, it can get so confusing when you get so many children marrying and then remarrying and all with same/similar names and then to top it all they marry sisters on the same day..lol.

it is good though that you can tie things together with a parent that lives with a child after marriage etc.. really ties things up nicely

do you have them in other census now?

                    No Julie, I haven't.
FMP and Ancestry subs have run out and I'd thought I was at the end of everything I could find just now. This is a branch I'd left alone until I got a message on FTF about them.

Thanks everyone. Christina Strong/Saunders (nee Kerr) was my great grandmother's s-i-l and so is just a little twig on my tree .

Interestingly one of her grandsons became Lord Mayor of L/pool 1933/4.
