There is a possible for name and age match in Ireland - one death in Tuam, bc 1817 death 1888.

Researching - Trimmer (Farringdon), Noble & Taylor (Ross and Cromarty), Norris (Glasgow), McGilvray (Glasgow and Australia), Leck & Efford (Glasgow), Ferrett (Hampshire), Jenkins & Williams (Aberystwyth), Morton (Motherwell and Tipton), Barrowman (Glasgow), Lilley (Bromsgrove and Glasgow), Cresswell (England and Lanarkshire). Simpson, Morrow and Norris in Ireland. Thomas Price b c 1844 Scotland.

She was only 66 in 1881. We had a friend from Dublin who lived in America until she retired at 68 and then she went back to Ireland. Mind you, that was in recent years. I don't know how easy it was to hop over to Ireland then.Last edited by Chrissie Smiff; 01-04-14, 21:25.Chrissie passed away in January 2020.
