Long time no see, I hope you are all well.
A friend, Steve, has asked if I can help with his Family Tree.

I am stuck so have turned to you for help please.

Birth 15 Feb 1927 in Altona, Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany
Death Sep 1989 in Hammersmith, London, England

She was known as 'Lyla'.
Her first husband was:
Leonard Frederick Worters
1927 – 1999
They married in Hamburg, moved to London and then divorced. She then married Steves father.

Helene Frieda Erna Geborene Schatz
Birth 1906
Death abt 1972 in Hamburg, Germany (Calculated from Steves very vague memory)

Lottes Father...

Paul Robert Hermann Reim
Birth 1905 in Hamburg, Germany

This information is taken from Lotte's Birth Certificate.
We assume that Helene remarried as his 'Grandfather' that he remembers was called 'Willie/Wullie' when he visited in Hamburg.

Any further info on Lotte, Helene or Paul please.

i think you'd have to start with hamburg records. i don't know how you would access 20th century bmd's.

i'd start by contacting the state archives, and asking them who holds civil registration (from early 1870's, when prussia unified germany as one country). from googling, the archives seem to hold some registers, but local register offices also may have them:
