    Could anyone tell me please the length of time a courts' records are closed for?

        Court records are legally Public Records and therefore subject to the standard closure period of thirty years, however due to many of the court records being of a sensitive nature, most are closed for one hundred years.
        Whether there is statute to require it or not.

          What is it you are trying to find out, Pilgrim? there may be a way round it. For example, many court cases are reported in the newspapers.
