Hi all,
I need some help looking for someone on the 1871 census. I have him on other census records but not 1871.
The gentleman in question is George William Baglee (according to the other census records i have he was born somewhere between 1845 and 1847 in Newcastle).
Baglee is one surname that can be mistranscribed a lot of ways like Baglie, Bagley, Baggley to name a few.
George at some point moved to London from Newcastle and married Emily Matilda Thompson in 1869 in Shoreditch and eventually settling down in Islington. By 1881 the couple were living in St Paul Street, Islington with their children.
A birth record for George still eludes me also.
Thanks
