Could anyone tell where what registration district births would have been registered in for a family living in Catterick, Yorkshire in the 1930's and 1940's?

As a general rule, if I'm wanting that kind of info I google for :
"civil registration"
"place name" (whatever that is)
& District
The inverted commas force Google to teat the multiple words inside as a single search term.
You can usually pick up the answer from the 'hits' pretty quickly.

i just google 'place name' registration district, and it takes me to the genuki page freebmd utilises.
