Welcome to the forum.
Do you have access to Ancestry.
I think this is the family in the 1861 census, with possibly an error of Mary Ann being recorded as Margaret Ann
The address and occupation match the information shown in Mary's baptism record, also on ancestry.
1861 census
RG 9; Piece: 2942; Folio: 5; Page: 6

Same occupation on the MC.. A 'Fustian Cutter'? Off to google that as its a new one to me ;)
Fustian (also called Fustanum[1][2]) is a term for a variety of heavy woven cloth, cotton fabrics, that are chiefly prepared for menswear. It is also used to refer to pompous, inflated or pretentious writing or speech, from at least the time of Shakespeare. This literary use is because the cloth type was often used as padding, hence, the purposeless words are 'fustian'.Last edited by Debbss; 23-10-13, 09:25.

From our Big Book A-Z in the FTF reference library .. http://www.familytreeforum.com/conte...k-of-Genealogy
- Fustian Cutter / Weaver - A person who lifted and cut the threads in the making of Fustian, formerly a kind of coarse cloth made of cotton and flax. Now a thick, twilled cotton cloth with a short pile or nap, a kind of cotton velvet. A long thin knife was inserted into the loops and the threads cut as it was pulled through, stretched between rollers. The cloth was then brushed to raise the pile.
