Have a Lily Fern marrying a Thomas Charles Jarrett in 1926 South Manchester
She dies in Sep 1979 in Bournemouth
Says on Death Reg born 3 May 1901 anybody narrow down her Birth Reg ?
Would you agree the one registered in Jun 1901 Ashby de la Zouch could be her

What is her father's name on the marriage cert? if Henry (As in the above census) and works in a brewery then I'd probably go for the ADLZ one as that would tie in nicely. Was the informant on the death cert a close relative? If so I would stipulate the date on birth cert must read 3rd May 1901 if ordering. Woodvillle was in ADLZ reg area.

On Lancshire BMD, the marriage between Thomas Charles Jarrett in 1926 at Holy Trinity Rusholme Manchester, his brides name is Lily FENN not Fern. On BMD there is a Lily Fenn birth registered for Jun. Qtr. 1899 in Sculcoates (North Riding of Yorkshire) 9d 131.

Thanks everyone I dont have any certs for her yet wanted to confirm a bit more first, and thanks for that Vonny as just looked at her first childs birth and it says mothers maiden name Fenn ? so the marriage reg on Ancestry has been mistranscribed, that makes a lot of difference.

That birth is 1889 Vonny so too early.

There is a Lilian Fenn - Salford June 1901 8d 84

This could be her living 21 Kenneth St Fenney St Hr Broughton M/C on 1911
