Thomas Hiles married Mary Jackson in 1818 and had 7 children in Stroud, Gloucestershire. I have managed to trace all the boys, but the girls are proving very elusive.
Here they are in 1841, with their 5 youngest, under the name of Iles : http://search.ancestry.co.uk/iexec?h...e&pid=16341964
Julia and Ellen were baptised as Julia Sarah Hills, in the non-conformist registers in 1827, and Ellen Keturah Hills also non-con in 1824. Francis was completely unknown to me until I found this entry!
Thomas died in 1862, and Mary in 1872 but the girls aren't with them on either the 1851, 1861 or 1871 censuses.
Thanks
