When I use the above cleaner it always leaves behind 37 files such as the ones above. Is there any other way of deleting them apart from going in to regedit?

I am not a user of ccleaner but it occurs to me, from the list of things that it will not delete, that it needs to be running with administrative privileges. So does it ask for permission to alter things before it runs? If not then if you are running off a shortcut just open the Properties-Compatibility tab and check the box Run as Administrator.
[Added in edit] Whenever you use a registry cleaner/editor especially one which does wholesale alterations of it's own choosing make sure you have a registry backup or system restore point before you start.Last edited by DavidNewton; 02-10-13, 08:23.
