  • Thomas Farrington c1823 Ireland/Marriage to a Catherine

I'm helping a friend with her Tree. Trying to find (a) a marriage probably Ireland c 1840ish and (b) an 1851 Census.
In 1861 we have them in Warrington ref RG9/2791/52/4 and in 1871 also in Warrington at RG10/3903/85/27.
My friend has no clues to offer so research is difficult but maybe on FTF help is possible.

I wish you luck, as I've wrestled (to no avail) with a similar scenario for over 20 years.:D
Do later census entries give any clue as to county or town of origin? Mine eventually said "Galway", which could be either city or county - anyone's guess.

I know it's a tall order Janet but we might get lucky.

There is a baptism of an Eliza Farrington to a Thomas and Catherine Farrington 16 May 1848 at St Michael & St John's Roman Catholic, Dublin. That's the only possible trace I can find on Irish Genealogy.

Thanks Richard, as yet I don't have an Eliza born 1848 to this couple but this is a good possibility.............many thanks.
