I can’t find anything more for George Winward (death, further census) – did he die??
My interest is in the bride Rosanna nee Carey (born 1849 Newcastle upon Tyne reg dist)
I think she marriedagain: Was she a widow or a bigamist?
Rosannah Winward & Robert Carlisle mar Q4 1872 Newcastle on Tyne reg dist (I can’t justify the cost of a cert as Rosanna is only a distant twig on my tree)
Family search has the following bp - 26 Sep 1875 Morpeth, Mary Jane d/o Robert Carlisle & Rosanna Cary
I'm pretty sure Robert, Rosannah & three daughters sailed to the USA, where they were recorded in Pennsylvania in 1880. I've tracked the details of this family 1880 and afterwards in Pennsylvania and on to Ohio, so please don't anyone waste any of their time doing any USA research for them.
Sorry - don't know why the link won't work
