I take it that you haven't got a name Kat?

Where have you found this Kat.
From what I can see on Ancestry the format for a 2005 death registration would be:
      Registration District:
      Inferred County:
      Register Number:
      District and Subdistrict:
      Entry number:

There is no volume or page no.

FMP has this in the index:

        Name:
        Registration district:
        County:
        Year of registration: 2005
        Month of registration:
        Date of Birth:
        District no:
        Reg no:
        Ent no:
        DOR:

I think it must be a quirk of Ancestry indexing. I don't think the -1 volume/page nos. have any significance.

If you go to the GRO to order the certificate, the only info required is:
            Year death was registered 2006
            Surname of deceased *
            Forenames of deceased *

            Year 2006
            District name and Number*
            Entry Number*
            DOR (Date of Registration, mm/yyyy)*

It looks as if Ancestry has introduced a standard format, with space for all the different record formats. Volume and Page only apply to the "old" quarterly indexes and the other field are for the newer computerised monthly indexes.
