I asked, as I have been trying to work on some 'twigs'.
I have the actual William and 'maria' in my tree that others have pointed out for me (1851 and 1861 census)
I had been looking for who this maria could have been and when they were married, but he was born and raised in harrow Middlesex and I was not 100% happy with the Bloomsbury address.
I think that this marriage is not them, even though he was an iron monger, to be a basic galvaniser and then later a successful iron monger with staff seems to confirm my suspicions.Avatar is my Gt Grandfather
Researching:
FRANKLIN (Harrow/Pinner 1700 to 1850); PURSGLOVE (ALL Southern counties of England); POOLE (Tetbury/Malmesbury and surrounding areas of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire (1650 to 1900); READ London/Suffolk

It's definitely the same couple. There's a John Comerford, nephew, on the 1851 with them. Tracing him, his parents are George and Jane. George Comerford married Jane Leney in 1846 - father Abraham, same as Maria's.
My tinman also ran an ironmongers shop in Hammersmith in his later years.Rick
