In 1808, John Bidgood MITCHELL (b 1803) and a couple of his sisters were baptized at St Lukes. - Parents were William & Martha Mitchell (TinPlate Worker).
Likely, but unproven, marriage of William & Martha is in 1802 - William Mitchell & Martha Chant.
Other possibly related records:
In 1798, John Bidgood MITCHELL was baptized at St Sepulchre, London - Parents John and Margarett Mitchell.
Additionally, in the 1851 census, there is a Francis Mitchell, Tinplate Worker, born St Lukes, Middlesex, b. abt 1794, Living St Leonard's Shoreditch. Seems like that's more than coincidence. Might be one of the first 4 baptisms:
I'm really interested only in the first JBM, but it seems like there's likely connections to the other Mitchells, which might help with these questions -
Any guesses where Bidgood came from?
