Feel free to send me a virtual slap..

Marjorie Bailey married Charles Frederick Peacock and had 4 children.
2 of each and only the girls survived infancy- heck I wouldn't be here otherwise.

That's the only information that I ever had on Marjorie and it's only now that I'm making a list of all graves/obituaries found that I'm double checking the dates through Stockton Roots and guess what?

It has a date for Marjorie, why on earth did I never think to check the death date from Stockton Roots to one on Ancestry?

Looking at the birth that's been supplied there is a birth of Middlesbrough 1913 with the Mother's surname of Bailey, Nanna did always tell us that the Father did a runner.

True, not only that but I have Nanna telling me one thing, my Granddad telling me another (Signature is an example here) and then my Aunt crying and telling me that her parents are wrong and that this happened.. Seriously getting annoyed at it now, and they wonder why I've focused more on Mum's family than theirs.

We have all been there once or twice please dont think you are an idiot, its just the way folks were very secretive, like me I found out my Grand Dad was not mine , that made me a bitty cross as I had done the research on his family. Then I found out my Dad was not my Dad but Boy! it opened so many new doors in research. Amazing. Lizzy
