William Thomas Clements, b. 1857 in Brightside, Sheffield, Yorks. Know nothing of his parentage, except his mother's MN (if indeed, she and Mr Clements snr were married) appears to have been Smith (oh no!)
I have him in 1861 living with his maternal grandparents in Greasley, Notts

In December 1878 he marries Sarah Worrall (v.spellings available) in Kimberley, Notts, and in 1881 he and Sarah are living with her father, Samuel, in Greasley
and I then have him in 1891, 1901 and 1911
but I don't seem to be able to find him at all in 1871. In 1871 Sarah is in nearby Moor Green, so suspect that William is somewhere in the general area, but I just can't put my finger on him.
Any super-sleuths help here, please?
Thanks in anticipation.

PS : There is a Clements in Greasley, but he was b.1848 and is from Birmingham, so must be a different fellow.
