Poking around my SA rellies today, I noticed that Ancestry24 is closing down at the end of February.

It would appear that the data will be transferred to another site, not lost.

Here's a couple of quotes from Heather Macalister

'Please don’t worry – the data will go to a good home and you will be notified. The volunteering will go and and must continue. Whoever takes over the data will absorb the volunteers and all the work gone into it.'

'The data will not be lost and as soon as the new custodian has all the paperwork, you will be notified.'
