FTM 2012 merging files

On p29 of the manual it says (bottom of the grey section):

"FTM lets you merge multiple files"

But I can't see anywhere in the manual how to do this. Any ideas?

Can I just add - make sure you back up both files before you start just in case things go wrong.
Secondly, think very carefully before merging files - if there is a lot of overlap between the two files then you could well end up with multiple duplicate entries which are often a pain to work through!

I second that Elaine; I've spent more time rooting out duplicate entries than I care to think about. I'm in the process now of rebuilding one tree the old fashioned way, one keystroke at a time.....
