It seems that a number of sites are offering some sort of discount at the start of the year - lots of competition to get researchers to sign up! This one is for the British Newspaper Archive website.
I believe it's an ongoing project so definitely worth keeping an eye on to see what is added in the future.
Personally I've found quite a few useful snippets from the site and find it a lot easier to search than the newspaper collection on Findmypast.
