  • Latest Archive CD Books Britain and Ireland Newsletter (5 Dec 2012)

There's the usual list of new digitisations, but they have a really practical new product...

    New titles available to download
Not only do we have newly released titles for you this newsletter, we also have 50 titles of both British and Irish interest newly converted for digital download. There’s not enough space in the newsletter to list all fifty, but the downloads include a number of the popular Highways and Byways series, Kelly’s county directories, John Southerden Burn’s The History of Parish Registers in England (also including Scotland, Ireland, the East and West Indies) from 1829 and Wills from Doctors' Commons, A Selections from the Wills of Eminent Persons proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 1495-1695.

Interesting I didnt know that Rod had agreed to this name being used when he sold his business nor did I know he had sold the rights to an Irish company. Nice to see that it is still around though. I am glad to see that they have removed the not for profit line though.

As far as I am aware many most of the titles were sold to Ancestry, all the titles were licenced to Archive CD Books Ireland, Canada, Australia and USA and Family History Research also bought rights to the files.
