i find it goes nuts on hints when you've adding things to the tree.

There are some odd things going on with Ancestry these days. Note the NEW at the very bottom of the page referring to Cookies, Privacy & ToC. See also the thread I started on Genealogy News about the bizarre goings on with my account.
