    I know this has been asked before, but can't remember the answer. Where and who can apply for someones army records from W.W.2

    The NOK can apply Sue, still £30 fee (I think), info & form should be here.

    Each government department has a publication scheme, which makes information available to the public about how it operates and how it spends its budget.

        I applied for my father-in-laws last month.
        They replied saying it may take a year.
        Yes, it was £30 - non refundable if they don't find the records
