I know I'm really annoying people here but it's gotta be done, it's bugging me far to much.
Thomas Phillips was born in 1841, Great Stainton, Durham to John Phillips and Susan(nah) Fairburn.
He had a sister in Sarah and 2 brothers in Robert and William.
I found Thomas in the 1881 Census aged 39 with a wife named Mary A. Phillips origonally from Scotland snd 3 daughters:
Alice- 13, born in Stockton-On-Tees.
Emily A-11, born in London, Paddington. (odd)
Susannah F-3, born in South Stockton also known as Thornaby-On-Tees.
He's a Driller in a Shipyard (ran in the family) and lived at 22 Starkey Street (love the location)
What I'm puzzled about is the 1891 Census. There's only him and his wife in it and they are now located in Middlesbrough. Could they have just had the 3 Daughters who have married or could it be the wrong census? Considering his brother Robert had 10 children and his nephew George had 11-12 I'd have thought it might have ran in the family or something.
Plus I can't find him in any Census after that one.
