There are 4 Frederick Newmans born in Aston alone between 1900 and 1908. Their marriage cert will be needed to trace Frederick's family backwards and to see father's names for them both.

This is them on 1911 census:

Do you need further censuses for this family?

Hi DR - nice to see you again

The most likely marriage is in Dec 1896 but just Maud (not Maud Mary) Taylor to Stephen Turner - Aston 6d 487

The fact that Stephen gives Perry Barr as his birth place in 1911 and Handsworth in 1901 (aged 26), I think the most likely birth may be Dec 1874 W.Bromwich (covers both) ref 6b 760
Her birth ref though does say Maud Mary Taylor as you say.

I would contact the owner of that tree on Ancestry DR and ask them if they would mind telling you where they got the information from.

Thank u so much for that info, im going to have to invest in some more certs i think. On the Info that Tracey has posted i know one thing that is definatley wrong is Mauds Sibling Alice birth year as that is my Great Grand Mother and it should be 1911, so it goes to show that only use second hand information as a guide, Thank you all for ur help and taking the time to post this i shall have a good luck and compare what information i have already and get on to ordering certs
