Yes, I have just checked passenger records and both Rachels are married on going over.

I checked on Scotlandspeople, but not able to see records. There is 1 Philip Barnett born between 1900 and 1904 and 11 girls starting with R, but no Rita.

It is definitely Philip and Rita on the 1914 border crossing.

Due to the fact the I am helping someone else off line who has Scottish Ancestry they have paid for some subs to scots people and said I can use whats left. So I can now confirm the name of Hyman and Leah Barnett's daughter

Hyman Barnett bn 1878 Lanarkshire is visible in the Scottish census 1881 through to the 1901 which we've seen

His parents were Abraham bn 1858 Russia a butcher which some of it we know from the marriage info his wife Esther 1858 Russia

I dont have any more spare credits for Scots site so one of you with access to Ancestry may want to see what is shown on the earlier 1881 census. In the 1901 Abraham states he has been Naturalised.

She came over to Canada and died here. I know that's correct. The info. about the 2 Rachels seem correct...they were not widowed on leaving the UK. The name change from Blougrund to Barnett is possible. After all, who would want the name
Blougrund and Barnett is much more Anglicized.

So Abraham was married to Esther and was the father of Hyman. Have I got that correct? Hope so. I will look on the 1881 census if I know where to look in Scotland. Never been there before.

Wendy, I think Fanny Harris is Annie Harris, on 1891 says born 1851. On 1901 says born 1853.
benjamin Harris on both of those says 1847.
Looks like someone just got confused with there dates!
