    Open office and apli labels

    Hello,
I am having problems trying to use Apli address labels with Open Office. The instructions are minmal and don't work for me. They give loads of 'how to' on Avery but I bought Apli by mistake and Apli's download doesn't work for me.
Having had, and still do have, problems with OO I really wish I had stuck with Microsoft!
    Advice needed and gratefully received,

If Apli labels aren't listed on OO can't you define your own. Are there any measurements on the Apli label packet that you can use to enter into OO.

I don't think you can knock OO, it isn't bad at all considering what it does and it is FREE!

    Hello John,
Thank you for your reply. I have actually found the solution to my problem by getting on to Apli and finding a suitable download.
Free is fine with me if it works but unfortunately I still have the same problems from a year ago. You may remember you tried to help. But I can get round it and have learnt to live with the problem. I appreciate that many people are very happy with OO just not me,
    Regards,

    FAO John Nihon

    Hello John,
I have had problems with burning CC's and had to get my Techie friend round to sort it out. Had to have a new cd Recorder. While he was here I asked him to look at my problem with OO. You may remember every time I changed the font and or size after pressing enter it went back to the original.
He found the answer on a Swedish web site! Someone had the exact same problem and the answer was to go to tools, Auto correct options and check
that 'apply styles' was unchecked and that 'Replace custom styles' was checked.
It works and I can type whatever without problem! So Open Office is again, Cheers,
