A name ripe for mis-transcription!
Please can anyone find him in either 1841 or 1861? In 1851 he was in Cheltenham, which was one of his residences.
Born in Guernsey 1789 - by 1841 he was widowed, no children as far as we know. Also known as Rev de Saumarez, or Lord de Saumarez, 2nd Baron de Saumarez.
NOT a rellie, I'm not that well connected, it's in connection with a local history project.
