    Hi Chrissie,
    I'm sure in the past i have seen a site or similar about travelling people.
    You may already know of it but if not nothing lost.
    They tendered only to be on census records if they were at said place on census night/morning.
    Circus people and show people... don't know if it includes Gypsies, Romany or other.
    I,m sorry i cannot recall what it was ...but knowing the wealth of knowledge people have on here I'm sure someone will know of it.

    Thanks Edi. Somebody did give me a gypsy site the other day. I trawled through but there was no mention of Heaps or Heap, so I didn't join. I put it in my favourites though and I may have to have a rethink and see if they know anything I don't
