If Tryphenia b 1898 went to Canada with her mother, maybe she married Edward Dunning there?

                        hang on a moment

lets sort this out a bit.

Tryphena Carnall had a daug before she was married. ( called Peggy or Elizabeth)

her parents seem to have married the year you say she was married - i think you are in a bit if a muddle.

I thought you said Tryphenia b 1898 married Edward Dunning. She can't have done so before she was born!!

There are a couple of trees on Ancestry, which if correct, might help.

Tryphena Elizabeth Carnall born c1874 Liverpool
parents John Anthony D Carnall and Mary Batstone
Tryphena married William Ponsford in 1893

Tryphena Elizabeth Carnall born 1898 Liverpool
parents John Douglas L Carnall and Mary Hewitt

I thought Bren was saying that the second Tryphena married an Edward Dunnig (?Dunning) and that he died in WW1. If this is the case she married at a very young age. I have done a quick flit through the marriages from 1913-1918 and cannot see anything (hope I havenĀ“t missed it if it is there),
