    Occupation in 1861

    Can anyone read the occupation for Eliza A Litchmarth (Titchmarsh)

    it looks like Fund Holder?????

    I would say yes. There's one further below. It appears to be in another hand as on the previous page there's another Fundholder but in the same hand as most of the CEB. I suppose another description for independent or own means.

    I think it just means that whatever money you have is invested in The Funds.
