Aww thank you for posting that. It has made my day . Although we restore for fun its awfully nice when we get a response like this. Its a nice feeling when we make someone happy, so thank you for sharing this with us.

Rachel, Chrissie & Niksmum, thank you all so much for your help, the photos are just like new. My Mum will be even more thrilled than I am, as I'm making a family scrapbook & these will fill in the spaces for her father & grandparents.
Thanks again
Christine

Hi there John
Thanks for your kind words. As for doing a tutorial, well I am afraid I could not as I am self taught and still learning myself. If you google PS3 tutorials you will find a lot to choose from. I use PS2 and have found the web a great source of help especially sites like YouTube.com
If you have a specific question I will try and help you with it, as I am sure the other restorers will as well.

There are also some good books available, particularly Photoshop Restoration & Retouching by Katrin Eismann. I have the one for Photoshop 7, but there is also a newer version for CS2.

It can be ordered through Amazon:
Amazon.co.uk: Adobe Photoshop Restoration and Retouching (Voices That Matter): Katrin Eismann, Wayne Palmer: Books
