Asher.....Lyon ....Hart........Simpson...eighteenth/nineteenth century German/Jewish immigrants....principal interest is in the East Midlands, but there also seem to be connections in Kent/Portsea/Bedford/London
Elliott....Chard in Somerset/Nottingham.
Hudson....Notts/Leics/Derbys
Dryer/Dreher.....German Lutheran eighteenth/nineteenth century immigrants. Seem to have started off in Liverpool (connections with the sugar plant ?), but my branch moved down to Nottingham.
Rheinhart....nineteenth century German Lutheran immigrants. Started off in London's East End, but my ancestor married a Dreher/Dryer as above & moved via Liverpool to Nottingham
