The tables below can be copied and pasted into a member's blog and be used for such things as
- transcription of journals/diaries,
- timeline of events either from your research as a whole or a timeline relating to a particular individual, surname line or event.
- recording the military records of an ancestor, e.g. enlistment, postings, promotions
- or other similar records in your possession.

IMPORTANT:
Before including tables in your blogs you will need to check your settings to ensure you have the Enhanced Interface selected.
To do this click on SETTINGS (top right of page) -> GENERAL SETTINGS (left hand side of page).
Under the section entitled MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS, select ENHANCED INTERFACE (Full WYSIWYG Editing).
Scroll down the page and click on SAVE CHANGES
When copying the tables it is very easy to miss highlighting the top left and bottom right corners of the table, which may result in some of the coding not being included. We would therefore suggest you copy from the words "highlight from here" to the words "to here". Once pasted into your blog you can remove the unwanted words.

The row height of the table will expand as the text is entered, text will wrap in each cell of table. Rows can be added or deleted by using the icons shown below
For those that prefer not to work with tables, then by simply using the "indent" option on the advanced editor toolbox, the following effect can be achieved.

IMPORTANT:
The maximum number of characters which is allowed in a blog is 10,000. This will equate to approximately 60 rows rows of full text.
