Go to the Photobucket website - http://photobucket.com/
If you are not already registered click on SIGN UP and complete the registration details.
Sign into your account and click on UPLOAD IMAGES AND VIDEOS
Select the files from your computer that you wish to upload. Holding down the Ctrl key whilst selecting files means you can select a number at a time.
On the next page add any titles or description as required, click SAVE
You will then be taken to your album where your images are stored. If you hover your mouse over the image a box will appear under the image with four lines of code.
If you wish to post your image on a forum such as Family Tree Forum, click on the 4th line of code which will highlight in blue. Right click on the blue coding and select COPY.
Go to the thread or post where you wish to display the image, right click the mouse and select PASTE.
Coding similar to the following will appear

There is also an option to use the "bulk uploader" which allows you to upload more than one image at a time by selecting the images from folders stored on your computer. Using a combination of the Ctrl key and left clicking your mouse will select the images one by one.

SNIPPING TOOL is a useful program which is part of the Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 standard installation.
To open SNIPPING TOOL- Vista / Windows 7 : Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool

The Reference Library is stored in two locations. The main section is stored on the forum and accessed via the listing on the Home page. A smaller section is housed in the wiki section of the site which can be accessed via the Site Projects link on the navigation bar.
Navigation via the Home page:
- Clicking on the Reference Library tab on the navigation bar will take you to the Home page.
- The Reference Library can be accessed by selecting the appropriate heading

Family Tree Maker 2006
Open the Family View page, click on FILE / EXPORT FILE / ENTIRE FILE
Once you have done this, you will need to specify a destination folder for the file to be exported to, for example My Documents or Desktop. You should also name the GEDCOM at this point, using a filename that you can easily recognise.
