| Virgin e-mail Is anyone else having trouble trying to log onto Virgin.net I have now been trying to use my Web Mail and nothing happens after I try and log in. I have also tried to view it via mail2web.com also nothing happens. I have two Virgin email addresses and it is the same for both. I am able to view my other email address with another company o.k. I have also tried to read my mail via Windows Mail and Virgin.net are asking me to log in each time. The box is checked to remember me but I am still getting the message. My second Virgin address that has another name and password I don't appear to be able to access. When I did get on to Windows Mail I received all the mail that I had yesterday.

| Hi Margaret, I am with Virgin and don't seem to have a problem today, however from time to time over the last month there have been a few hiccups and I gather that it is something to do with all the updating etc that they are doing to bring us a better service! There is an automated response on the help line saying that they are really sorry for any inconvenience, but it won't last long |

| Sally, Many thanks I too feel that it is something to do with the changes. I have just added a little more to my thread to complicate life. I have Virgin as my ISP and two addresses on it but the second address does not appear to work at all. They do not even give the option to log in. I have just looked at the site status (that means Help and is hard to find) which tells me that Central Southern England broadband customers affected by changes at Virgin Media possibly no access.

| I have been directed to Webmail, and can access my emails from there but it is a pain to be honest. Out of interest I rang the help line again, and there is a new message on there about the problems with emails. It sounds pretty major, but I do hope that they sort it out soon Margaret - I have had difficulty connecting to the internet today, it has taken me several goes Last edited by sally; 14-08-08 at 20:32. |

| Sally, I am so pleased that I am not the only one having these problems I too have had a problem connecting to the internet today. Even when I did get on about 22.00 hours I still could not get onto this site. I can read my first email address on Webmail but cannot read my other email address at all. I sent them another email and they replied thanking me for being patient and that I will be connected one day! After a week of struggling I am thinking of moving to 02 has anyone tried it yet?

| Margaret, it's amazing what comfort we gain from knowing that someone else is suffering the same problems!! I have had so many problems in the past when changing providers that I have no intention of doing it again, but Virgin clearly have a massive fault which is taking a long time to rectify. They must be tearing their hair out with all the complaints |

| Guy, Some of it may be fixed. I can now receive email using Windows Mail etc. But for my second email address I can only read this via webmail, They have sent an email to my second address and say that they hope to fix the problem soon.
